Armenia supported the expansion of relations between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at a news conference in Yerevan on Friday that Armenia supports the development of relations between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union.

According to ISNA, he said: “We have supported and continue to support the development and deepening of relations between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union.”

According to the TASS news agency, Pashinyan also emphasized that the then Iranian president had attended the organization’s summit in Yerevan in 2019 at his invitation.

The TASS news agency concluded by writing that the Eurasian Economic Union member states have completed all necessary steps to implement the free trade agreement with Iran.
